This is a pristine example of early Doulton teaware.
Manufactured betwen 1901 and 1929 in the Doulton Nile street factory which was in Burslem, North Staffordshire.
The body, spout and lid of the teapot are covered in very detailed chintz transfer pattern.
This has then been hand painted, tinted and gilded.
The teapot is in rare condition showing no signs of cracks, crazing, chips or fractures.
It therefore has undergone no restoration or conservation it is in stunning condition for an item 100-123 years old!
