Description

A late Georgian mahogany writing or dressing table in the manner of Gillows. The top with raised gallery above two drawers with mahogany dovetailed linings and original turned wooden knobs. The table stands on fluted tapering legs with shaped feet. Good original colour and condition, a useful table that can be used as a desk, dressing table or as a side table. The writing height is 78cm and there is plenty of knee room. The table is attributed to Gillows of Lancaster , fine timber and a typical Gillow leg. English Circa 1830.
