As can be seen by the illustrations these are very finely decorated unlike the turned out type made between1900 and 1930.. The quality and detail of the decoration exceeds many offered in the market today, They are completely in original condition without cracks chips, or rubbing to the gilding due to over cleaning.

Imari porcelain refers to Japanese export wares produced in the Arita region of Hizen province and shipped via the port of Imari. Originating in the 17th century, the style is recognised for its complex panelled designs executed in cobalt blue underglaze, iron-red enamels, and detailed gilding.

Imari ceramics are formed from porcelain clay fired at high temperatures to achieve durability. Decoration is achieved through initial underglaze cobalt blue brushwork, followed by high-temperature firing, overglaze enamel detailing in iron red and green, and final hand-gilded embellishments.
