Fine quality Regency rosewood library table firmly attributed to Gillows of Lancaster. This beautiful high quality library table would grace any property. Trestle end design with turned columns and carved scroll supports both top and bottom. Lovely narrow frieze veneered in cross grain rosewood with half turned ''knurled'' decoration all round. The veneers used in the top are beautifully grained with shaped corners which is a nice feature. The top is veneered on solid mahogany. The base has its original turned feet with inset castors.
The overall condition is totally original and the finish is also original. we have just waxed it.
A really nice piece of top quality furniture.
