A charming little period oak side table with a shaped apron and frieze drawer, standing on turned legs united by simple stretchers, c.1720. The table has a lovely colour and patina, though was in need of a little TLC when we acquired it, so please read the condition information below.
Condition: This table has suffered from a woodworm infestation in the past, and we have had to replace some areas of timber that had been excessively weakened. This was all in the drawer runners, which had to be completely replaced, and two of the feet have had to have new timber spliced in to replace damaged areas. One of the sides has a lot of woodworm holes but is stable, and there are a few woodworm holes dotted around in other places. The woodworm was not active, but we have treated it as a precaution. The drawer handle, while of some age, is not original. There are various marks and chips in accordance with age and use - please see the photos.
