Antique Qing Chinese Export Rose Medallion Canton Porcelain Punch Bowl 15.5'' Diameter.
A Chinese Export Rose Medallion Famille Rose canton porcelain punch bowl with multiple painted panels. The exterior of this gorgeous bowl is decorated with multiple panels which include the emperor and empress, scholars, attendants, and craftsman. The rest of the area is painted with butterflies, flowers, swirling leaf and vine patterns, mountains, streams, and fruit, such as peaches. The inside is also highly decorated a gorgeous and important emperor court scene which is absolutely magnificent with attendants and various other court apprentices.
The piece is further adorned with hand painted 24-karat gold decoration.
China, circa 1870. The size is 15.5 inch Dia. x 6.5 inch High.
Condition: Beautiful as pictured. No chips cracks or any restoration.
This is a very nice example with no faults, no fading or any issues.
