Antique oak draw leaf refectory dining table.
 
This Antique oak draw leaf refectory dining table would have been made in the late Victorian period circa 1870.
 
The table is of a rectangular shape with the top constructed with 3 good wide boards inside a frame. It has leaf that pulls out each end of similar construction.
 
The table is a lovely colour and with a good patina.
 
The base has a bulbous turned leg to each corner, all joined by shaped stretchers.
 
It seats 10 and in a cosier setting you could seat 12.
 
The tops and leaves can be taken away to allow easy transportation to and around your home.
 
This style of dining table has been popular for hundreds of years as they are so versatile, enabling you to extend it when your seating requirements are greater than a 6.
