A three tiered graphoscope, in finely figured Amboyna with Satin wood interior including adjustable pop up photo/card holder with bone finials. Embossed internally "marque de fabrique".

27cm wide x 17cm deep x 8cm High.

The graphoscope: A 19th-century device used to enhance the viewing experience and based on a 1864 patent of Charles John Rowsell.
