Antique and rare Chinese hand painted ceramic figurine in glossy enamel, depicting an Emperor in a formal elaborate yellow robe, hat and cradling a lingzhi ruyi (Chinese curved decorative object that serves as either a ceremonial scepter in Chinese Buddhism or a talisman symbolizing power and good fortune in Chinese folklore), standing on an octagonal base. The Emperor’s figurine is hand-painted in intricate details, adorned with rich colors especially in a beautiful shade of yellow and textures that bring the figurine to life. The piece is made of high-quality ceramics, ensuring that it will last for years to come. The details and craftsmanship of this figurine make it perfect gift for history lovers, collectors, and anyone interested in Chinese culture. The figurine marked on the bottom in impressed Chinese characters, it is a wonderful representation of the opulence and grandeur of the Qing Dynasty, in a very good condition with minimum wear and no chips, cracks or repairs. Based on our analysis, these figurines were previously produced in various sizes, as you can confirm through an online search. However, they are currently available in much smaller dimensions. At 55 cm, our figurine is the largest known, which justifies its higher price compared to the smaller versions.
