Antique Victorian Gilt Frame No 13

Description

This is a Victorian gilt frame with acanthus edge and inner egg and dart detail dating from around 1890. This has its original gilding in good condition. The frame measures 49 cms by 39 cms overall. The aperture of the slip is 33 cms by 23 cms without the slip present this would be a frame with an apperture of 35 cms by 25 cms. The opening at the back to receive the painting is 24 x 34 (or 36.5 x 27 without the slip)
