Cast Iron and Brass Demi Line Stick or Umbrella Stand, C1900, 64cm tall.

A superbly stylish, late 19th century to early 20th century, English antique stick or umbrella stand, circa 1900.

The original brass stick stand with cast iron tray has a 5 section demi lune upper section with brass supports, surmounted with finials, all brass work has an elegant timeworn patination and no dents, scratches or defects.

Presented in it’s original, excellent condition with some darkened brass which we have just waxed with soft wire wool to reveal its warm colour, this can lustre to shine but sold as is and the buyer can chose to polish further.

A versatile size stick stand for a country house entrance or apartment, for a back door boot room or vestibule, these have an enduring appeal with interior designers and compliment a classic or contemporary space.
