Dragoncharger Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
Hand decorated with narrative scenes covering the entire surface of the opaque white tin-glazed earthenware. The allegorical scenes in the two central cartouches from classical mythology in a range of colours, in which yellow, orange and blue predominate. Winged mythological grotesques adorning both ends serving as spectacular handles.
In excellent condition and only minor fritting around edges and extremities (table not included).
