George I Pad Foot Mahogany Drop Leaf Gateleg Dining Table C1720 (georgian)

A George I period, mahogany drop-leaf dining table, Circa 1720. Featuring a solid, high quality, well figured, mahogany top of oblong form. Constructed from 3 leaves of early, very heavy mahogany. The end leaves are supported by single gatelegs. Plain frieze, raised on turned tapering legs on off-set pad feet.
 
A excellent original, early table, unmolested, with no obvious signs of repair or damage. Rare to find one of this age in such good condition. Cleaned, waxed and very much ready for use.

This table measures approximately 70 cm (29.5'') tall, 127.5 cm (50.25'') wide leaves up, and 45 cm (17.75'') wide leaves down, 102.5 cm (40'') deep.
