We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.

FAQs

A draw leaf table is an extendable table design featuring two sliding leaves stored underneath the main surface that can be pulled out to increase the table length.

These tables are traditionally constructed from solid hardwoods such as cherry, oak, walnut, or fruitwood, utilising traditional joinery techniques.

Authenticity is identified through hand-cut joinery, timber shrinkage, period-appropriate hardware, and natural oxidisation and patina accumulated over decades of use.

Pairing a wooden antique table with contemporary seating or minimalist decor creates a balanced, layered aesthetic that highlights the natural grain of the wood.

Preserve the finish by avoiding direct sunlight, using coasters and placemats, maintaining consistent indoor humidity, and occasionally applying natural beeswax.
