The superb shaped top with crisp carved edge, opens and rests on a swing out hind leg with green baize top which protects the wood when opened. The top when open has a green baize playing surface with outset rounded candle stands and Guinea wells. There is a concealed drawer to the frieze with plenty of room inside to store the cards, games, etc. Raised on 4 beautifully carved cabriole legs terminating with claw and ball feet. This is a stunning piece of antique furniture with a gorgeous rich colouring and when closed it makes a stunning console table however it is always ready for games night.
