A rare pair of Staffordshire figures of a bird, possibly a pigeon or dove, seated on a tree with a nest of eggs below. Each one is brightly painted and dating circa 1860. Both are in excellent condition, one only with slight old restoration of its beak, as shown in pics, both with very minor fritting to the moss around each nest. Both have a worn gilt line around each base. Each one with a vent hole to the reverse. Rare as a pair. Reserved DA
