A George II period, mahogany drop-leaf dining table, Circa 1750. Featuring a solid, high quality, very well figured, mahogany top of square form. Constructed from 3 leaves of early, heavy mahogany. The end leaves are supported by single gatelegs. Plain frieze, raised on turned tapering legs on off-set well proportioned pad feet.
A excellent early table, in good original condition. Sensitively cleaned, waxed and now very much ready for use.

This table measures approximately 70 cm (29.5'') tall, 121 cm (47.25'') wide leaves up, and 44 cm (17.25'') wide leaves down, 122 cm (48'') deep.

Only very minor old running repairs. Never French polished. Only marks and blemishes in keeping with use, including a few old scratches, now all well wax polished over. Lovely ag
