A fine pair of 17thc oak carved lion heads, showing the full expression of these nicely carved pieces....they have probably been applied to an impressive large piece of furniture, like a court cupboard or buffet....I would have certainly liked to see the piece of furniture they came off..!....in excellent condition for their age and also with a good colour.
