An attractive carved square top side table crafted by Japanese fisherman and imported and retailed by Liberty and Co around 1905 in the ‘ Eastern Bazaar ‘ section at their shop in Regent Street London ( see the copy of their catalogue showing this item)
In original condition with a plain top with carved lotus leaves around the edge, carved splayed legs with cross stretchers on its’ underside
Ideal as a side table for a lamp, a flower display or a piece of sculpture
It measures 17 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 28 inches high
A really elegant table that would grace a period or contemporary home
