The man''s attire and the base of the figurine are finished in gilt. On the underside is a blue crossed sword, a red ''40'' and the inscriptions ''C73'' (model number) and ''127'' Mid-19th Century, possibly older, 1st choice. .The figurine is finely modelled and painted with underglaze paint, partially gilded Condition: unfortunately, the rose in the right hand is missing.
