A lovely mid-Victorian period burr walnut loo, or supper, table. Of excellent construction in solid walnut and stunning burr walnut veneers. The shaped top is fitted with attractive burr walnut veneers and is surrounded by a thumb-nail molding to the edge. Decorated with profuse marquetry inlay to the surrounds and with an exquisite central oval floral marquetry inlaid panel. The quadraform base is in solid walnut with carved decorations; the legs terminate in their original brass castors. The table top can be tilted up for display purposes when not in use.
