Superb Edwardian mahogany demi lune table in great untouched condition. The top folds over to reveal an amazing, veneered supper table which rest on the rear gate legs. This table is supported by four elegant cabriole style legs with carved knees and pad feet. Like all antiques there are some imperfections however this is a solid table with years of use still ahead.

A demi-lune tea table is a semi-circular accent piece originating from the eighteenth century and heavily produced during the Edwardian era. It features a hinged top that folds open, allowing it to transition from a wall-aligned console table into a full circular table for serving tea or playing cards.

These tables were predominantly constructed from solid mahogany or walnut, frequently featuring flame mahogany veneers on the top surface. Internal folding mechanisms and hinges were crafted from solid brass, while the legs were turned or shaped into slender cabriole or tapered forms.
