An 18th Century Delft Polychrome Tankard with a Hinged Pewter Cover.
The cover hinging open with an orb thumb grip, the rounded and ringed edge, fitting over the rounded collar, over the cylindrical body of the tankard. The body with arcaded bands, filled with rising and falling flowers against a blue ground. The front of the tankard with a leaf adorned reserve, topped by a leaf crown, surrounding a scene of a grand house. The whole against a manganese background. The tankard held with a slightly tapered handle.
