Large terracotta figure of the Virgin Mary c.1920. Standing 48'' tall. Full length figure of Mary in white robes her arms open in compassion and blessing. Stood on a half globe (13'' diameter at the base) representing the earth and crushing below her feet a serpent with the apple of sin in it''s mouth. In terracotta with painted face and gold detail to the robes. Very good condition.
