A magnificent antique Victorian burr walnut dining table, with a wonderful shape & bold carvings. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1870 period.It is of amazing quality, with a gorgeous burr walnut top with serpentine edges, and a fabulously carved base. The carving on the base is really quite special, have a good look at the close up images to see the intricate details.The burr walnut grain patterns on the top are stunning, this has a gorgeous colour tone and patina. The top flips up and can be removed entirely for ease of transport.We have had this recently re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
