This is a good large Victorian gilt frame dating from around 1870.

The frame is in good condition overall and has a good antique colour and patina to the gilding.

This is a very useful size measuring 105 cms by 67 cms overall.

There is a large gilt slip internally with a sight aperture of 49.5 cms by 74.5 cms

This could be used without the gilt slip which would make the aperture to frame the painting 82.5 cms by 57 cms.
