A 19th century fruitwood apple corer made from one piece of wood.Intricately carved with an open cage, interestingly rather than balls inside, like the Welsh Lovespoons, this apple corer has a carved central rod.There is Zig-zag decoration around the open cage.

It measures 14cm l x 1.8cm w.

c1830/40
