Description

This is a lovely late 18th century laburnum wood egg cup of large size. The egg cup was probably made for duck eggs due to its large size and hence its an unusual piece.

Note the lovely ring turning to the main body and the stepped base.

Lovely colour and patina.

c1790/1800

It measures 10cm h x 6cm w
