There are seven sticks in this private collection: A sharks' vertebrae with silver collar and ebony handle, c 1870, a Georgian mahogany cane with bulbous grip, which activates a stabbing blade from the handle end by the action of the force created by holding the stick at its base and moving in an arc through the air, this fulcrum allows the blade to exit and lock into place, a malacca case with pewter ring encasing a full steel blade with fine engraving, fine example of a full blade sword, a bamboo garden grab in working condition, a cane with horn grip, silver engraved collar and ebony shaft with a stabbing blade activated by tapping the ferrule on the floor, the blade then has a mechanism that locks it into place, a polished blackthorn stick with pistol grip which slides apart to reveal a steel blade, the final stick is plain and simple with an ebonised shaft, engraved silver collar and green glass ball grip. All the sticks are in fine condition and work as originally intended. I will be pleased to send more details of each stick along with extra photographs.

Some of the above stick are rare examples and would form a very substantial base for an excellent collection or enhance an existing one.
