Each letter has it's own compartment plus there is extra compartments for the vowels, the letter Y and also which is RARE punctuation tiles for a question mark, comma, semi colon and a colon. The letters are in bone but the inlay to the interior of the box with the name of the letters on is ivory. This is a really great piece.
