Description

A interesting theatrical Roman helmet, probably dating from circa 1920-30, constructed of linen covered papier mache with remains of gold paint and edged in rope bullion thread, the plume of red dyed sisal, with a Medusa's head medallion at the front and metal chinstrap holders.

31cm high x 44cm wide max.
