Scale Model of a Courage Brewery Horse Drawn Waggon/cart

Constructed in solid oak and finely detailed throughout with steel and brass fittings, this exceptional exhibition quality model represents a late 19th century Courage Brewery horse drawn dray. The model displays an outstanding standard of craftsmanship, incorporating working leaf springs, a fully articulated front steering assembly, an operational braking mechanism, lamps and numerous accurately executed fittings.

The body retains its natural polished oak finish, complemented by blue painted wooden wheels and matching Courage Brewery signwriting, faithfully evoking the character of the original commercial vehicle.

The underside is signed in pencil F. Morland and dated 1932, suggesting the work of a highly accomplished model maker.

Larger items would be personally delivered or sent with a specialist antique delivery firm, or for outside the U.K, a professional shipping company.
