We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. FAQs

Regency period porcelain candlesticks, produced around 1800, reflect the neoclassical design influences popular during the British Regency era, often featuring classical motifs, hand-painted landscapes, and extensive gilding.

Early Worcester porcelain was crafted using a refined paste body and finished with fine enamels and gold leaf gilding, requiring multiple firings in traditional kilns to achieve the characteristic vitreous finish and rich colour palette.

Authentication involves examining the paste composition, glaze characteristics, hand-painted brushwork details, and factory marks or patterns characteristic of known makers such as Flight and Barr from the period.

These pieces can be used as focal points on a mantelpiece, sideboard, or console table, pairing historical craftsmanship with modern minimalist surroundings to create a curated, layered aesthetic.

Antique porcelain requires gentle dusting with a soft, dry cloth and should be kept out of direct sunlight to prevent fading of the hand-painted enamels and gilding. Avoid using liquid cleaners or submerging in water.
