The Yongzheng period, spanning from 1723 to 1735, is renowned for its refined elegance, exceptional technical mastery, and delicate enamelling, particularly the refinement of the famille rose palette.

These items were crafted from high-fired petuntse and kaolin clay, glazed with clear or tinted feldspathic glazes, and hand-painted with mineral pigments before undergoing a secondary low-temperature firing for enamels.

Authentic pieces exhibit hand-thrown characteristics such as subtle potting irregularities, iron impurities within the clay body, brushstroke variation under magnification, and appropriate wear consistent with age.

These pieces can be mounted on specialist metal stands for display on sideboards, integrated into curated wall galleries, or showcased within glass-fronted cabinets to add historical depth and colour.

Porcelain should be cleaned gently using lukewarm water and mild soap, avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, and kept away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations.
