Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

The George III period spans from 1760 to 1820, characterised by a synthesis of Palladian, neoclassical, and later Regency influences, often featuring balanced proportions and refined craftsmanship.

These tables typically utilised native timbers such as oak, mahogany, or elm, joined with traditional pegged tenons, dovetails, and turned central pillars supported by three sweeping legs.

Authentication relies on examining hand-cut joints, timber shrinkage patterns, natural patina, tool marks from hand planes, and period-appropriate ironwork or wooden catches.

Positioning the piece beside a modern sofa or using it as a standalone display surface introduces historical texture and organic warmth to minimalist or transitional schemes.

Maintain stable indoor humidity levels away from direct heat sources, avoid silicone-based polishes, and periodically nourish the timber with traditional beeswax to protect the finish.
