An Attractive Inlaid and Ormolu Mounted Card Table

Description

An attractive Inlaid And Ormolu Mounted Card Table. Raised on turned, fluted and ebonised legs with brass castors. The frieze and top are beautifully inlaid with a variety of exotic woods in foliate designs and the top has a central urn motif inset into burr yew wood and bordered by tulip wood. The top also rotates to reveal an interior for counters, cards etc. and folds over to expose a playing surface which has and inlaid ebony and yew wood border. In very good condition. 810mm high, 860mm wide and 460mm deep. English. Circa 1870.
