Large Georgian "Country House" Towel Rail

Description

Large size early 19th century Georgian "Country House" walnut towel rail. This towel rail is larger than normal and is period (unlike most which are Edwardian). Made from solid walnut with nice turnings and a wide platform near the base with shaped legs. It is nice and sturdy with no wobble. There is minor old damage to one upright near the base as pictured. The towel rail is a lovely colour with original patination and a waxed finish.
