An astonishing survivor: a tiny, fully-formed leather shoe with perfectly scaled details including a layered heel, lace eyelets, brogue perforations, and a stitched toe section. It may well have been an apprentice piece or an easily transportable sample to show the skills of the cobbler/shoemaker. This charming miniature shoe - just 3¾” long - is English, c.1900 - c.1925.
