A Superb Lustre Glazed Fielding’s Crown Devon Large Pottery Table Centre Piece or Footed Bowl

This delightful and decorative large China bowl was made at the Fielding’s Crown Devon factory. It is a rare piece of their high quality lustre glazed gilt and enamelled China which was produced and sold in exclusive top end shops and stores in the 1920s and 1930s. This most exotic footed bowl has a dark royal blue lustre ground which is decorated inside and out with brightly coloured and enamelled stylised foliage and an exotic bird all of which are highlighted with fine gilding as are the rim and the three shaped and raised ball feet. This stunning piece is fully marked on the underside and is in remarkable excellent original condition with no wear or restoration. English,1930
