Pair of English Oak Bookends in the Classical Style

Description

Here are a pair of English Victorian bookends, hand carved in the classical style with acanthus leaves and side panels with scrolled foliage and rosettes.

The bookends stand 18cm tall, 17cm wide and are 9cm deep - they are in lovely condition with a rich patina and would be a handsome addition to anyones library (or bookshelf!). Its just the bookends that are for sale here, the Cathedral guides are the models own.
