Description

Here are a really handsome tall pair of hand blown Victorian glass display domes, both sat on black ebonised bases standing on 3 small feet, and lined with the original claret velvet.

The domes are a par, and as such are the same size ( I was aware that in the photographs, they sometimes appear different sizes - that is just down to. perspective! )

Both are in great condition - the glass bright and shiny, and free from cracks - there are the usual tiny nibbles (totally unseen) to the edge of the glass, but these are the original manufacturing marks from when the glass was cut from the blowpipe, and not damage.

The velvet is aged and sun worn, but I have left it as it is the original - should you wish for newer looking velvet, this can easily be replaced at the buyers discretion.

Each dome is 54cm tall on its base, and 28cm in diameter, with the height inside the dome 52cm.
