Description

A late 19th century three-draw mahogany and brass telescope on stand.

The telescope has a mahogany barrel with brass telescopic elements. The original brass lens cap remains present. The first drawer of the telescope is stiff and does not presently slide back into place. There is also a telescopic element to the lens - the extends with ease. The remaining two drawer are stiff but functional.

The piece has wear throughout but generally remains in a good cosmetic condition.

A lovely little decorative piece.

Dimensions:-

Closed (with first draw extended): 20cm

Fully extended: 38.5cm

Lens diameter: 3.5cm

Weight: 290 grams
