Walnut Dining Table And Set Of 6 Chairs, Boston Usa

£2,150    $2,684    €2,574
A good dining suite from the early 1900s by Boston cabinet makers Phelps and Bradley. Unusual to find a matching suite. This set ticks the boxes for looks at the current time with the big demand for Scandinavian styles and this was ahead of its time in that respect. It is certainly solid with the middle supporting leg when extended and will polish up well with the walnut graining.. The table is a 48inch round when closed and has two leaves to take it to 67.5 inches. There is capacity to take another leaf if need be. It is comfortable for six or eight as it is but as mentioned could be made a little bigger. The pictures are taken in our store room and we stress no work has yet been undertaken. The price includes repolishing and reupholstery. You will need 2.5 meters of fabric for the chairs if you would like us to get the seats done. All in all a lovely table and chairs in walnut that will restore well and have a fashionable look but still retain the quality of an earlier era. The table has two leaves so can be used with one or two and the chairs are a set of 6, one being a carver. The carver could also be used as a desk chair if you only wanted 4 chairs around the table most of the time. The price is for the suite all restored and repolished £2150, a considerable saving could be available if you wanted to undertake the work yourself. Give us a call to discuss 01565 874075
