Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

A bijouterie table is a specialised piece of display furniture featuring a glazed top and sides, designed specifically to showcase small precious items, medals, and collectables in 19th-century drawing rooms.

These tables were typically constructed from dense hardwoods such as mahogany, rosewood, or walnut, featuring bevelled glass panels, lined interior trays, and hand-cut joinery.

Maintenance involves dusting the wood with a soft, dry cloth, applying traditional beeswax periodically to nourish the finish, and using ammonia-free glass cleaner on the display panels.

An antique display table works well as a focal point in a living room, serving as a functional surface to curate and display modern collections of books, minerals, or small sculptures.

Authenticity is determined by examining the timber grain, hand-cut dovetail joints, period-appropriate brass hardware, and the presence of float or crown glass within the glazed top.
