Description

An impressive large drinking Quaich made from turned Beech, it has four vestigial lugs and still shows the desirable chisel marks in between each lug....it is decorated with "double" incised line decoration below the lugs...it is of the size that would have been used for ceremonial and social drinking ....excellent condition with a natural patination from years of use and I particularly like the way the turner has even left some bark on the quaich and cut his makers mark into the underneath..!
