In very nice condition. Provenance: This table once graced Dumbleton Hall, Gloucestershire. It was in the ‘hall’ during the time Viscount Monsell (MP for Evesham and First Lord of the Admiralty from 1931-36) resided there. Following the sale of the Hall in the 1950s the table (itemised as ‘1 five legged mahogany Dining Room Table went with the 2nd Viscount of Evesham, Bolton Graham Eyres-Monsell to The Mill House, Dumbleton which had formed part of the family estate. Upon the Viscount’s death his sister, Joan, and her husband, Paddy, took ownership of The Mill House and the contents.
