An absolutely wonderful example of a Victorian carved oak panel. Its plinth base has three columns with five capitals separating four gothic arches, and there are five inset spandrels with oak leaf detailing. This highly decorative panel - perfect for hanging as a work of art - has five heavy duty solid oak blocks with steel fixing brackets enabling it to be affixed to the wall. Alternatively it can be floor standing for leaning against a wall. It is English dating from c1870 and retains its original finish with a soft lustre shine.
