Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
Some aged restoration to the very central marquetry and also you will have noticed there is an old wound running the width of the table. Both of which are very stable and not unusual to find on burr walnut tables of this period, also in my opinion they don’t detract from the table with it being around 140 years old!

The table will make an ideal large hall centre table, but is of a size that will seat 6 for dinner.
The table top does come off the pedestal base, so it is very easy to move and deliver.
