Description

This Victorian stained glass door panel is bejewelled with vibrant colours - featuring a central section of flowers, these are surrounded by a pattern of small painted panes primarily in yellows, blues and pinks and then finally finished with thin slivers of greens, pinks and oranges.

I have just had the panel professionally restored and fitted into a plain wooden frame so it's ready for use immediately with no work required - either fitted back into a door or perhaps as a stand alone piece - strong and sturdy, cleaned and ready for another few hundred years!

During the restoration, a few of the smaller rectangular sections around the sides were replaced with similar old glass (as the originals had cracked), and one of the painted panels which had also cracked was made stable and left in situ as the restorer and I felt it was more pleasing to enjoy the original rather than add a replacement ( please see specific photo of this - I'm aware that looking at this in close up makes it look alarming, but in the full panel you barely register it ! )

Glass 67.5 by 56cm
