An exceptional find. Kent’s of London knife cleaner circa 1885 in original condition still bearing not only it’s repoussed brass makers logo but also a further enamelled oval medallion badge and stick on paper panel of operation in legible condition.

A fantastic piece of Victorian kitchenalia in museum display condition or as a great designer item.

Original wooden knife cleaner box with brass knife supports,all mounted on its cast iron stand with the Kent’s, London name cast into the frame.

Truly an item of quality manufactured in a time when the paid servants or under butler would have the important roll of cleaning the knives in the family residence.

Standing 100cm tall, with a 40cm diameter knife case, raised on it’s iron base which is 71cm wide & 23.5cm deep to outside of frame legs.
